Imaginate the skeleton
First, we must create the instrument drawing : from an already existing project, or directly in relation to the customer requests (and we must think about the acoustics and materials restreints).
Everything will be layed down on paper before we start to cut through the various wood essences. This process is used by every lute-maker during the creation of a custom instrument.
Assemble our pieces
Then, the cut pieces are calibrated, and assembled to create the final instrument. To which will be added several other little parts which goal will be to enhance the sound rendering and the instrument esthetic.
Finish the product
Finally, everything is sanded, polished, vernished... so it reach its final aspect. The instrument will then be tune according to the customer desires.

Build
The wooden pieces are cut, shaped, then put together following the assembling order. This process is generally the most time consumming, but also the most interesting one, because it's during these moments that the instrument is starting to take shape gradually as the pieces are put together.
According to the customer choices, the appropriate vernish will be used. We finally can install the last pieces and the strings. Everything is then adjusted and tested before being sent back to you.
